The Entrepreneurship Center Split and the Student Entrepreneurship Incubator of the Faculty of Economics in Split are organizing the sixth edition of the Hack4Split hackathon, this time with a green theme. The competition will take place as part of the University Green Digital HUB project on April 15th and 16th, 2023, at the SPINIT incubator in Split, with the support of the social entrepreneurship company Ensoco and Split Tech City.
This year’s edition of Hack4Split is characterized by a green theme and sustainable solutions, with the aim of encouraging the transition towards a green and digital economy. Through this event, we want to inspire young people to become active members of their local community, to familiarize themselves with the needs and issues in their community and environment, and engage in addressing them.
If you have an idea or are willing to contribute to our community and the environment, Hack4Split is the perfect place for you. In a relaxed atmosphere and spirit of teamwork, with the support of expert mentors, participate in the development process of digital and green innovations and win one of the many prizes. You can apply through the link, and applications are open until March 31, 2023.
As a green-oriented hackathon, Hack4Split is taking place this year at three locations through the University Green Digital HUB project, at partner universities in Spain, Germany, and Croatia.
The main goal of the project is to strengthen the digital, green, and entrepreneurial skills of students, university startups, and university staff, as well as to enhance the capacities of higher education institutions in the field of teaching for digital and green transition.
The “University Green Digital HUB” project lasts for 24 months and is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program, Key Action 2: Cooperation Partnerships (for higher education).
